The Genesis G80 Electric And Hyundai Santa Fe’s Seat Belt Pretensioners May Explode And Hyundai Also Warns 2018 Santa Fe Sport Owners To Park Outside Over Fire Risk
It has been a potentially nerve-wracking week for Genesis and Hyundai owners, as a number of vehicles have been issued with some important recalls. On Tuesday, Hyundai warned owners of 2018 Santa Fe sport owner to park outside due to a fire risk, with 44,396 crossovers missed in the initial recall. The recall relates to ABS modules in which an electrical short can develop. A few days later, 2023 Genesis G80 Electric and several versions of the 2021-2022 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid were also recalled due to exploding seatbelt pretensioners.
