Supercars news | Robbie Williams to headline 2023 Adelaide 500

Adelaide 500 organisers have confirmed Robbie Williams will headline the Supercars season finale in 2023.
It comes a day after the event returned to the Australian motorsport calendar just a year after it was axed by the former South Australian Liberal Government.
Now under the stewardship of the South Australian Labor Government, elected earlier this year, the Adelaide 500 recorded a four-day attendance of more than 250,000 people.

That marked an uptick from the last event held in 2020 prior to the coronavirus pandemic, which saw just a little over 200,000 people attend.
“Australia is one of my favourite places in the world to tour,” said Williams, who headlined this year’s AFL grand final in Melbourne.
“I feel so at home there and hugely appreciate the warm, loving welcome I always receive.
“I can’t wait to be back in Adelaide to perform at the VALO Adelaide 500 in 2023 and spend some time with my fans.”
Cheaper tickets and a strong music line-up were part of this year’s push for a big turnout.
This year’s Adelaide 500 featured a packed music offering, including local acts Baker Boy, Lime Coridale, and The Presets.
