Lucid has had a rocky start in the EV world, but that doesn’t really matter. With the Lucid Air shelling out insane amounts of power, we’re expecting the Lucid Gravity to follow suit. After many delays, Lucid has come forward with plans to release the Lucid Gravity Electric SUV in 2024. And of course, the delay is understandable.

The Lucid Air delivers 480 horsepower on its base trim and 1200+ horsepower on its Air Sapphire trim. And we’re expecting Lucid Gravity to follow a similar format, which is pretty exciting, to say the least. The Lucid Gravity is going to be an extremely powerful, roomy SUV with enough horsepower to hit the racetrack. Right after you drop the kids off at school.

Lucid Gravity Will Deliver Beastly Performance

There have, of course, been some delays in getting Lucid back on track. As expected, with as ambitions as high a Lucid’s, issues are inevitable. Not only should your car be the world’s most beautiful—even if that is a relatively abstract goal—it should also be the fastest and the one with the longest range. Lucid Gravity’s ambition leads us to have to guess some crazy numbers. Especially with Lucid Air’s reveal, the numbers are quite lucid.

If looked at thoroughly, the Lucid Gravity shares a lot of similarities with the Lucid Air. The Lucid Gravity is planned to deliver 500 miles of range with enough power to compete with supercars, let alone the Tesla Model X…
