Supercars from Porsche and Lamborghini are rallying into the off-road market but we crave for this red-hot off-road Ferrari the most!
The latest trend among supercars has been off-road editions of current models. The most recent example is a rendering of a Ferrari. Yup! The SF90 “Dakar Cross Edition” was posted by @ildar_project on Instagram.
This is not an official Ferrari model or project just to be clear. This car joins the virtual ranks of the Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato, and the Porsche 911 Dakar. However, the Sterrato and Dakar will actually be hitting the trails by the end of next year.

The Instagram account @ildar_project posts some pretty rad renders of customized vehicles. This Ferrari SF90 “Dakar Cross Edition” was the vision for a high-ground clearance version of something out of Ferrari’s current lineup. Sleek body lines from the base Ferrari SF90 Stradale are still prominent and keep this car looking like a rocket ship.
Yet now this fictional supercar is equipped to also navigate some pretty rough terrain. The off-road touches are rather obvious and start with auxiliary lighting at the nose of the car. New black fender flares provide extra clearance for slinging up mud and dirt. Off-road tires are mounted to Vissol wheels. The car is then topped off with a roof rack…
