The
Czech
car
manufacturer
Skoda
will
bring
the
Octavia
RS
iV
plug-in
hybrid
to
India.
However,
this
performance-oriented
model
will
be
brought
to
India
in
limited
numbers
as
completely
built-up
(CBU)
units
and
will
not
be
manufactured
or
assembled
at
the
automaker’s
facility
in
Maharashtra.

That
being
said,
the
upcoming
Skoda
Octavia
RS
iV
plug-in
hybrid
comes
with
a
1.4-litre,
turbocharged,
4-cylinder
engine
instead
of
the
1.8-litre,
turbocharged
engine
in
the
previous
version.
Despite
the
lower
displacement,
this
powertrain
puts
out
242bhp
of
peak
power
and
400Nm
of
peak
torque
in
combined
form.

S
Facelift

Mercedes-Benz
is
looking
forward
to
introducing
the
facelifted
version
of
the
A
45
S
performance
hatchback
in
India
and
we
expect
this
model
to
reach
the
showrooms
by
mid
of
2023.
Apart
from
that,
the
model
will
be
imported
into
India
as
CBUs
and
will
be
available
in
limited
numbers.

Moreover,
the
Mercedes-Benz
A
45
S
comes
powered
by
a
2.0-litre,
turbocharged,
4-cylinder
engine
with
421bhp
of
peak
power
and
comes
with
a
sophisticated
all-wheel-drive
system
to
efficiently
put
down
the
power.
As
such,
the
model
can
complete
the
0-100km/h
sprint
in
just
3.9
seconds.
