When you’re involved in a car accident, it is no laughing matter. Most people who’ve had a crash prefer not to recall the incident due to physical injury, mental trauma, or costly damage to their beloved roadsters.
It’s something that anyone would want to forget, but let’s face it, Richard Hammond isn’t just anyone and he has probably set a record for the most car collisions. In the latest video release from his YouTube channel, Drivetribe, he revisits the most spectacular and whacky crashes he’s suffered from flipping a Toyota Hiace to totaling a Rimac supercar.
A Long History Of Wrecked Vehicles For Richard Hammond
The popular TV presenter has had more than his fair share of crashes over the years – some hilarious and others deadly serious. Most fans of the Top Gear series will know about the terrible crash that Hammond had in a Rimac concept car back in 2017 when he was lucky to survive.
He’d been driving the supercar across Switzerland for The Grand Tour when the vehicle left the road and tumbled down a slope before going on fire. Thankfully, he lived to tell the tale and to continue crashing vehicles in a more lighthearted manner.
