With that in mind, in a recent video from cvdzijden – Supercar Videos, we see a McLaren 600LT go up against an array of different cars including a Ferrari 488 GTB, Porsche 991.2-generation 911 Turbo S, BMW M5 F90 Competition, and a 1,000-HP Jeep Cherokee TrackHawk. While the McLaren is a very fast car in its own right, it just can’t put the power down compared to its competition.
Battling The McLaren 600LT
In the first race, a Porsche 911 Turbo S lined up opposite the McLaren. As the race begins, the turbo grips and goes, leaving the McLaren far behind. On paper, the Porsche is half a second quicker to 60 mph and combining that with a perfect getaway leads to a first defeat for the McLaren.
For the next race, an F90 BMW M5 attempts to beat the faster McLaren. BMW M cars are notoriously some of the best drivers cars in production today and the M5 in particular stands the test of time.
